ANDROGRAPHIS (Root) Fa Thalaai: Anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic activity. Reported to possess astringent anodyne, tonic and alexipharmic properties and is helpful in dysentery, cholera, diabetes, influenza, bronchitis, piles, gonorrhea, hepatomegaly, skin disorders, fever, and worm infestation. the plant is bitter, acrid, cooling, laxative, vulnerary (useful for healing wounds), antiperiodic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, depurative (purification of impurities or heterogeneous matter), digestive, and stomachic. The extract and its active constituents, andrographolides, have liver protective properties. These compounds help to increase bile flow and promote liver health. Is known to dispel heat and remove toxin.
LICORICE (Root): Anti-inflammatory. Stimulates interferon production. Supports adrenal function, antispasmodic, anti-mucolytic, colon cleanser, and regulates blood sugar. Licorice is very sweet and contains glycyrrhizic acid which is fifty times sweeter than sugar. It helps support the adrenal glands and stimulate the excretion of hormones from the adrenal cortex.
