10 mg per kg body weight per day in three divided doses-between meals. Use on a two-week cycle, 3 days on, 11 days off.

A woman who is pregnant, or who might become pregnant, should not supplement with Captomer. Captomer is specifically contraindicated during pregnancy.

Chelator for Heavy Metals

My Nutritionist recommended Thorne's Captomer as the best product to use for heavy metal chelation. After being on the product for one year, my recent heavy metal testing showed improvement. I would highly recommend this product from my personal experience, although I would recommend assistance in determining the dosage. I started taking Captomer two times a day three days a week. I now take it two times a day one day a week.

It does require knowledge about DMSA as a chelator, the amount to be taken, the number of days.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

There is no information anywhere that tells me who many milligrams (mg) of DMSA are in this product. Dosage strength information is essential for me to be able to compare prices, decide whether to purchase this product , or instead its sister which contains 250 mg DMSA per capsule.
