Cilantro (Coriandrum sativum) – The leaves, rich in vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamin C, are used in folk medicine for
digestive and gastric conditions; coughs; bladder complaints; fever; and dysentery. In traditional Indian medicine it has been used
to treat nose bleeds, hemorrhoids, scrofulous, painful micturition, edema, bladder complaints and dysentery. Recent research also
shows its potential beneft to assist with eliminating mercury toxicity from the body.
Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus) – Has been used traditionally for chronic skin disorders, lymph congestion, rheumatism, spleen
disorders, liver congestion, bilious complaints and constipation. It has one of the highest iron contents naturally occurring and has
been used by herbalists to treat anemia.
Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) – Used traditionally by herbalists for many conditions related to urinary tract disorders like urinary
calculi, kidney gravel, infammatory conditions of the urinary tract and cystitis.
Bearberry (Uva Ursi) – Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for infammatory diseases of the bladder and kidneys which
include cystitis, urethritis, and pyelitis, chronic irritation of the bladder, enuresis, excessive mucus and bloody discharge in the urine
and urinary stones.
