d-Biotin is a B-complex vitamin that is important in cell growth. Its inclusion in the diet is imperative to maintaining healthy skin and hair. It also assists in supporting healthy gastrointestinal function. There is some evidence that higher potencies of biotin can prevent certain yeasts from transforming into their fungal or systemic states.
d-Biotin is found primarily in protein sources such as egg yolks, meat, milk, poultry, fish, soybeans and whole grains.

Kirkman’s d-Biotin is a hypoallergenic formulation, designed specially for individuals with special dietary requirements and sensitivities. Vegetable capsules rather than capsules made from animal gelatin are used to minimize allergens. This product does not contain fillers, flavors, preservatives or common formulating aids that could cause sensitivity or allergic reactions. It is is free of casein, gluten, soy, flavors, colors, animal derivatives, sugar, heavy metals, pesticides and other environmental impurities.
