Part of my compressed disc regime
October 3, 2011
the compressed disc I suffer from (L4-L5) has, for many years created numbness and "heat" in my right thigh. To get relief I would sit for a few minutes. Recently I began to experience sharp jolts of pain in the leg - even if I was sitting or lying down. This caused great concern as I had often been told surgery was an option when I could no longer "live with" the problem. I saw that day coming closer. My chiropractor recommended spinal decompression treatments 3x a week for a month, with daily intake of Disc-Flex, Alpha Lipoic Acid and B-12. That was about 4 months ago and I have not had the severe, sharp pains since about 3 days after I started taking Disc-Flex. Now that the decompression treatments have been over for over 3 months I continue with Disc-Flex and stretching exercises. I have not had a repeat of those sharp pains since. Disc-Flex is my friend.
