This supplement has Magnesium Stearate in it, which I've heard is bad because it can prevent the body from absorbing nutrients. Google it. I wish it didn't have that! Otherwise, compared to many different cranberry supplements, I have only needed half the number of capsules with this product. For my "spastic bladder" I take two or three capsules per day, right before eating, and this keeps the UTI symptoms at bay. If I find a D-Mannose that doesn't have Magnesium Stearate in it, I will try that instead (and hopefully it'll be less expensive, too). But in the mean time I'm going to stick with this one, which my doctor recommended.
