The feline patient should receive one feline formula tablet two times per day, or as directed.

Sick cats can be especially finicky about foods and supplements; tablets offer versatility for this traditionally finicky species. The feline formulas can be administered in a variety of ways, including:

Whole tablet as a treat Whole tablet mixed with food Broken into large pieces and mixed with food Crushed into a powder and mixed with food Pilling Cautiously, as a powder suspended in water and given by oral syringe

In order to familiarize the patient with the supplement, it may be helpful to place one tablet beside the food bowl for 2-3 days prior to mixing it with their food.

Practice Notes An enteric diagnostic work-up including a CBC with differential, chemistry profile, radiographs, ultrasound, and intestinal biopsy should be considered for each patient.

Great for My Cat!

My cat's veterinarian recommended Feline Enteric Support by Standard Process to me when my kitten was having diarrhea. Immediately upon giving Feline Enteric Support to my kitten, along with Standard Process's Lact-Enz, the diarrhea completed stopped. My kitten is now a three year old cat and is still taking both products and rarely has any stomach problems and is very healthy.
Pros:
Ease of use. I just crumble one tablet into my cat's food every day.

The Feline Enteric Support is very good, especially when cats are older and have stomach troubles and liver problems. The glandular formula that Standard Process uses is very effective, and cats like it pulverized on top of food or even whole tablets as a treat.
Pros:
My cats love the taste and will eat these tabs.
Cons:
Nothing except that it's not available all the time.

Great product for digestion

The first time I used this product was when my hyperthyroid kitty had a bad case of pancreatitis. He was vomiting a lot and couldn't keep much food down. This product helped to quickly heal the issue without allopathic medicines such as steroids. Now I use it for tummy maintenance with all of my cats. It really helps my cats with their hairballs.
