Digestive and gastrointestinal (GI) tract problems can have a severely negative impact on your daily life. Seemingly mundane things like stress, a low-fiber diet, lack of exercise, consuming too many dairy products, and certain
medications can contribute to your bowels working improperly. Common symptoms of GI disorders include constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Suffering from any of these conditions may result in your gastrointestinal system failing
to absorb nutrients from the food you eat and drink, in addition to those from any other supplements you may be taking. You may experience other serious health problems as a result of these deficiencies and not know why!
The active
ingredients in Gastrazyme work to support healthy function of your digestive system, and help relieve the symptoms of inflammation, heartburn, and acid reflux. One of the most prominent is MMS, also known as methionine S-methyl
sulfonium or “vitamin U” (although it’s not technically a vitamin). This compound has antioxidant properties and promotes the production of the gastric mucus that strengthens the stomach wall. Medical studies have found that red
cabbage juice, which contains vitamin U complex, speeds up the healing of gastric ulcers. MMS also promotes healing after taking NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents).
These tablets also contain vitamin A, since
deficiencies have been associated with an impaired immune system and a compromised barrier of the GI tract, potentially leading to more severe diseases. Other natural antioxidants included in Gastrazyme include oryzanol and
chlorophyllin; the former has been shown to normalize the function of animals’ intestines when stressed or sleep-deprived.
Biotics Research’s Gastrazyme is set apart from similar supplements by the quality of its ingredients and production
process: for example, the gamma oryzanol is taken from rice bran oil and combined in a proprietary base. With the recommended dosage of three tablets per day, this bottle provides a one-month supply of gastrointestinal relief.

No more antacids
By Martha from Union, SC on July 16, 2012
I have been using tGastrazyme for three years now. My holistic chiropractor weaned me off of antacids and on to Gastrazyme because she said my upper back pain was due to horrible digestion problems. I have been on antacids twice daily for 27 years and my body had quit producing acid which is essential for good digestion. Gastrazyme has controlled my acid without blocking my body from producing it. I highly recommend Gastrazyme
Pros:
It's controls acid without blocking your body form producing it.
It's made from natural products
Cons:
I have to take it three times a day as opposed to twice a day, but that's not really a big deal.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
