The most important function of glutathione is to deactivate and render excess free radicals harmless. Glutathione is active between cells and, as a component of glutathione peroxidase, functions within them. Composed of the three amino acids cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine, glutathione is the primary constituent of glutathione peroxidase, a powerful antioxidant enzyme.

Glutathione peroxidase aids in maintaining normal levels of other antioxidants, including Vitamins C and E, by converting their spent forms back into active antioxidants, thus enhancing our body's defenses. Glutathione Booster contains essential nutrient components to help elevate or maintain the body's glutathione and glutathione peroxidase levels, and assist in the balance of good health.
