Kirkman’s Immuno-Aid™ Formula has been updated based on the latest scientific information regarding improving the immune response to current exposure risks. Our new, advanced formula includes elderberry extract, a powerful immune enhancer. Recent studies have shown that elderberry may stop the growth of select viruses under certain conditions.

You should be concerned about your immune system during periods of extreme exposure if:

Kirkman’s Immuno-Aid™ Advanced Formula includes powerful immune supporters clinically proven to help you stay well. This product is a hypoallergenic formulation suitable for individuals with special requirements and sensitivities.

A list of the product’s components follows with a description of its role in supporting the immune system.

Vitamin A is key in maintaining immune cell function, plays a role in the development of T cells and B cells and also promotes antibody function.
Vitamin C is a key factor in protecting our cells from oxidative stress and works in conjunction with vitamin E and selenium in enhancing immune response.
Vitamin E is an efficient antioxidant and a modulator of a number of our body’s host immune functions.
Zinc is an essential mineral which is involved in just about every aspect of immunity including playing a key role in the growth and development of T cells.
Selenium is a trace element which is essential in immune function as it supports antibody production and is antagonistic to heavy metals. It also works synergistically with vitamins A, E and C.

Beta Glucan enhances immunity by promoting macrophage and neutrophil production and by stimulating natural killer cell function. Beta Glucan is a complex long chained polysaccharide derived from the wall of baker’s yeast. It is also found in mushrooms, though Kirkman® uses only the Baker’s Yeast source.

Astragulus powdered extract enhances immune function by supporting NK and T cell functions. It has been widely used to support immune resistance.
Elderberry extract, as mentioned previously, is a powerful immune enhancer containing a high concentration of anthocyanins. Its inclusion gives the capsules a purple color rather than the tan/brown color of the original Immuno-Aid.™
