I decided to use this non-gmo lecithin, and discontinue using another brand when I learned that an estimated 94 percent of soy is genetically modified (USDA report). Besides the environmental concerns of growing gmo crops, we are being told that the insecticide BT is routinely found in those who are consuming gmo foods, which places an additional burden on the body as it attempts to eliminate this toxin. The only negative is that the granules are not as granular, more powdery, than other lecithin granules I've used in the past. But that is a very minor matter when considering the other benefits: good price and made from non-gmo soy.
