I have never been plagued by headaches, but these last two years I have what I call hormonal headaches on occasion. When occurring, they could last for several days. Seems to be related to menopause. Saw suggestion for magnesium on various websites for menopause. Since routinely taking Magnesium Bis-Glycinate (approx 8 months) as directed, I seldom get one of these headaches, and if I do, they are minor and do not last long. My husband had been RX magnesium in the past and he was encouraged to use Magnesium Bis-Glycinate. After researching the various types of magnesium available, I can testify how well-tolerated this form is. I have no adverse GI effects whatsoever. Certainly plan on continuing.
Pros:No adverse effects
Cons:Fairly large tablets... only reason I gave 4 stars!
