My holistic podiatrist recommended magnesium to me as a potential sleep aid. I was seeing him for treatment of plantar faciitis and was experiencing leg cramps, sleeplessness and pain from the plantar faciitis. I am not sure what the magesium actually did but I had a definite lessening of the pain symptoms, less leg cramps and possibility better sleep. An added bonus was added regularity. I am extremely pleased with this product.
