What does Neuro Optimizer® do?
Neuro Optimizer® is nutrition for the brain, combining CDP Choline (cytidine 5’-diphosphocholine, also known as Citicoline),Phosphatidylserine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Acetyl L-Carnitine, L-Glutamine and Taurine to enhance brain metabolism and antioxidant protection safely and naturally, without the useof stimulants.

Citicoline (CDP-Choline) is an essential intermediate in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major constituent of the gray matter of brain tissue (30%). Citicoline promotes brain metabolism by enhancing the synthesis of acetylcholine and restoring phospholipid content in the brain.

PS (Phosphatidylserine) supports the brain’s proper response to stress and promotes neuronal communication. The antioxidants Acetyl L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Taurine provide protection for the neurons from damage caused by certain free radicals. Acetyl L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and L-Glutamine also support energy utilization. Taurine also aids in osmoregulation (maintenance of proper concentrations of ions) inside the cell.

Great brain formula

I've been taking these for about six months they seem to be helping with cognitive skills and memory. I like the fact that Neuro Optimizer contains acetyl -l-carnitine, phosphatidlserine, coline and so much more to maintiain a healthy brain. I will continue to buy Neuro Optimizer and highly recommend it to others.

sleepless nights

I bought Neuro Optimizer by Jarrow Formulas after reading a review of the benefits of several of the ingredients listed on the label. Neuro Optimizer recommends 4 tablets. I started with one, which I took first thing in the morning. After several days, I noticed that I was unable to fall asleep at night and when I finally did, I awoke easily and several times. I stopped taking it, slept well, started taking it again, and sure enough, could not fall asleep.
