You’ve probably heard about omega-3 fatty acids and their health impact in recent years. However, unless you’re a doctor or otherwise involved in the
nutrition field, you may not be completely aware of its benefits.
Omega-3 fatty acids are a type of fat that’s most commonly found in marine and plant oils.
They are polyunsaturated fatty acids, which refer to the amount of hydrogen contained at the molecular level; polyunsaturated fats are some of the
healthiest kinds.
The omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil have been shown to lower your risk of heart attack, as well as helping to prevent other symptoms of
cardiovascular disease. High levels of omega-3s in the blood also appear to have a positive influence on the prevention of breast cancer and other diseases. In
addition, omega-3s have shown a potentially huge influence on brain functioning. Unfortunately, you may not be eating enough salmon—fatty fish are the most
common source of omega-3s—in your diet to avoid a deficiency. At the same time, you may be consuming too many unhealthy omega-6 fatty acids, which are present
in many processed foods. A balanced ratio of both types of fatty acid is essential to wellbeing.
The components of omega-3 fatty acid are docosahexaenoic
acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Both DHA and EPA provide exceptional health benefits, which is why both are included in Thorne Research’s Omega-3
with CoQ10 90 Fish Gelatin. The formula contained in these gelcaps includes CoQ10, a coenzyme lauded for its ability to facilitate the fast absorption of
omega-3.
Thorne Research strives to provide pure, high-quality supplements to people looking to enhance their health and well-being. Its products are commonly
used in prestigious research studies, and are recommended by many doctors and health care practitioners. The company always goes the extra mile to ensure that
Thorne Research dietary supplements are safe and effective for immune-compromised, allergic, and chemically sensitive patients.

Well Rounded
By Shinka from new jersey on September 29, 2011
Omega3 is a well rounded fish oil. I've been sticking with Omega3 for a year now and I have to say it's a good product. I could get cheaper products, but for me, Omega3 is a keeper.
Pros:
good ratio per pill.
Cons:
not cheap
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Wonderful for helping us grow older

This is the best of its kind. My husband and I take it twice daily and have been for over a year. Our Chiopractor/Nutritionalist, recommended it, and we have not been dissapointed. We believe that the Omega-3 w/CoQ10 if a heart healthy addition to our wellness program.
