Pantothenic Acid is a member of the B vitamin family; this is typically found in meat, eggs, legumes, mushrooms, broccoli and royal jelly. Pantothenic Acid is essential for the production of energy (via the KrebsCycle), the synthesis of adrenal hormones, protein metabolism, and wound healing. Alcohol reduces pantothenic acid in tissues and impairs its metabolism.

I read about Pantothenic Acid being helpful for my condition, and my doctor agreed that taking it is a good idea. I've been taking it for about 6 months, and believe that it is helping, although I cannot be sure. Jarrow is a good brand, and the price at Pure Formulas was the best.
