Para Thyrolate is designed to help normalize calcium and phosphorus metabolism by virtue of its parathyroid component. Also, thyroid growth and repair factors and iodine are provided. The parathyroid glands, through parathormone hormone, balance the two-way exchange of calcium between bone and blood. Calcium is stored in bone in the form of calcium phosphate. A rise in serum phosphorus is accompanied by reduction in serum calcium. High parathormone levels can lead to the development of brittle bones, lassitude, loss of appetite, kidney stones, upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and other digestive disorders. Low parathormone levels can lead to tetany ("pins and needles" sensation), Reynaud's disease, epilepsy, angina pains, cataracts, anxiety, listlessness, and even psychosis.

Each capsule contains:


Calcium 100 mg.


Iodine 225 mcg.


Phosphorus 40 mg.


Parathyroid Concentrate 500 mcg.


Thyroid Concentrate (porcine) (thyroxin-free) 25 mg.


Other ingredients: dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, protein conjugate, sea kelp, calcium carbonate, papain, guar gum, stearic acid, gelatin.


The glandular concentrate in this product is prepared by a special process not to exceed physiological temperature (37°C). Free of chemical pesticides and synthetic hormones.
