Once again Iv'e received my order from Pure Formulas faster than expected,which is espescially important to me when I forget to order when I know I'm running low. Iv'e been using Phyto-B for at least five years and started having good results from the first week.Being off of synthetic medicine is a great relief (knowing where it came from) I know natural is so much better for my body and appreciate your product and pure formulas for making it so easy to order and receive and depend on. I love Phyto-B, I've been using Phyto-B for over a year now, it helps my hot flashes and my mood swings. a friend recommend it to me, I'm 52 years old, and not on any other meds for my condition, I would recommend Phyto-B to all my friends. And I will continue to buy phyto-B.

I started taking Phyto B after I had a hysterectomy, and immediately began having the symptoms of menopause. The hot flashes and night sweats were awful! I noticed the hot flashes starting to diminish after about a week, and they kept lessening until I almost have none. What I do have now, I call "warm flashes":) It improved my life dramatically! The only thing it didn't really help was my mood swings/irritability. I would definitely recommend Phyto B, and have already done so!

Prior to this shipment of supplements I was OK with the taste, which isn't great but tolerable. This shipment, however, is ExTREMELY bitter, almost to the point of being intolerable. I bought 3 bottles currently and all tablets are the same regarding taste. I called Bezweken and they said the formulation hasn't changed, although their lableing about dosing has, but Phyto-B is far worse than any of thebottles of pellets I've bought in the last 2 yrs. Something's different. Wish they'd taste them and see for themselves

I purchased Phyto-B upon the recommendation of my dog’s veterinarian and it has exceeded my expectations. My dog has been able to “hold it” with no leakage even after 8 hours. The only noticeable side effect has been that the dog is drinking more water, but the veterinarian says this is a good thing.

Inconsistent taste and smell

I have used PhytoB for several years. It is mostly tasteless and odorless. My last bottle, however, had a distinctively "off" taste and smell; it was not at all pleasant. I called the Bezwecken co. that produces it; they claimed it was probably an herb taste/smell--but it did not seem that way to me.
I spoke with Brian at Pure Formulas, who very kindly sent me a replacement bottle at no charge. This time around, there is no offensive taste/smell.
Pros:
Just 3 or 4 pills a day eliminated all menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. One can adjust one's intake, accordingly.Cons:

Disappointed in the changes to the product

I am a long time user of PhytoB - and was given my first bottle by a naturopath. I used to use compounded bio-identical hormones, but the naturopath told me about Phyto-B which was a more standard formula and just easier than having to go to the compounding pharmacy. I loved them, and they worked perfect for me for 4 years. Then in the last 6 months, I noticed that the supplement looked different, had a bit of a different coloring and texture. And I also started having hot flashes again - for the first time since I started taking them. I knew the formula had changed and now I see that the plant derived estrogens are the last ingredient. I don't believe this was always the case. I believe there is not as much plant estrogens in the product now - and I'm having to increase my dosage to manage the hot flashes. Phyto-B is an expensive supplement - so I cannot afford to increase the dosage - yet I really do not have a choice - since I am not aware of any other over-the-counter bio-identical hormone product that works in the same way. I'm very disappointed in Bezwecken - and am looking for a new product to replace Phyto-B.

I purchased the Phyto -B 240 to help relieve my hot flashes/night sweats, as I can't take Black Cohash, so far seems to be some improvement, as with most supplements it takes a while to see improvement, because they are not drugs and are intended to work naturally with your system. So far so good.

Phyto B Quit Working

I took Phyto-B with great success for over 4 years. Back in the June 2011 timeframe, I purchased a new bottle and within a week my hot flashes returned. I read reviews online with similar complaints and decided to call Bezwecken. I spoke to a secretary who denied me access to anyone to discuss these changes. She was extremely rude and told me that there had only been changes to the binding materials and that these did not affect the product. I told her that, as a user of Phyto-B, I could attest that the changes did affect the way Phyto-B was metabolized.
As a loyal customer for years I was very disappointed to find that Bezwecken did not want to hear from their customers and that they did not care how their changes affected use of the product. I find it more disturbing that women are being told to take more. Phyto-B is already an expensive product and taking more for less equates to more money for Bezwecken.
I sincerely hope that Bezwecken is reading these posts. After my experience, I can't say much for their customer service. They had a good thing. Too bad they felt they needed change it.

Mom & I have been taking these for years and they've worked 100% for both of us @ only 4 pellets/day...LIFE WAS BEAUTIFUL! I would have given a 5 or 10 STAR if possible.
BUT THEN...
We received a new shipment (Lot #21627PHYB exp. 8/14) and immediately, it felt like we were taking NOTHING. For both of us, hot flashes, anxiety, aches & pains...the whole 9 yards, came back full force. I kept telling Mom that it feels like I'm taking absolutely nothing and throwing money down the drain.
We called both Dr. Guberman's office (our supplier) and Bezwecken to explain....they both suggested we take more! I refused because I KNOW these are simply not working for me and being on a very tight budget, I would like to return these for reimbursment (more likely with more product to return). Traci @ Bezwecken told me that there had been a slight change in the formula and Mom was later told that the change was in the binding material (I assume they were saying that the active ingredients remained the same). I asked EVERYONE if they had any of the older product...no such luck!
Then it came to me that I had given a friend a jar about 1 year ago but after taking only a few, she stopped. I got them back from her, began taking them (Lot # 21622PHYB exp. 8/14) and IMMEDIATELY all symptoms went away...LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL again! I dread what is to come if I can't find a lot # that works for us.
PLEASE...if you know of any supplier that has Lot # 21622PHYB exp. 8/14, let me know...we'll buy them out!

While searching for information about getting relief from night sweats and hot flashes, I came across Bezwecken products. Since I was not inclined to continue to use creams, which were very messy,not well absorbed and didn't seem to be helping, I decided to try to find a sublingual solution to avoid running hormones through my liver. Though I could get no definitive answer to how much estrogen and how much progesterone is contained in PhytoB (I called Bezwecken and was informed they could not tell me this information and the internet has a variety of different answers), I decided to try it anyway. It took about a week to really kick in using 4 pellets morning and night but it worked. I don't know if Phyto-B has enough of everything to protect brain and bones as well. Taking a consensus of the amounts contained quoted in about 5 different places and reading some studies on the sublingual amounts needed to provide protection, Phyto-B would seem to be enough. This company has been around for quite a while and seems to be well thought of so to some degree this isn't just a total leap of faith.

Natural Relief

I had a total hysterectomy at 34 so I began having menopause symptoms immediately. I dealt with them without hormone replacement therapy for a very long time. I was reluctant to take estrogen due to my Mom's four...yes four breast cancer battles...she is now once again cancer free. A year ago the Naturopathic Doctor I see recommended I try Phyto-B to help relieve the myriad of symtoms I was dealing with now that I am actually at the age of menopause. The difference is amazing...while not a "cure-all" it has made daily life much more comfortable!

I started taking Phyto B, a recommendation by my neice's midwife, on July 23, 2011. immediately, my night sweats disappeared, and my experience with the hot then cold, hot then cold symptoms nightly also disappeared, I am sleeping straight through the night, also I would experience "warm spells or flashes " during the day, ALL GONE! Many thanks to whoever developed Phyto-B! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Very easy to take, crack 4 tiny pellets with your teeth, sometimes I let them sit under my tongue, or I just swallow, followed by 4 more pellets 12 hours later.Cons:

I had been experiencing night sweats that were so intense and frequent that I would wake up soaked 4 or 5 times a night - this went on for six months, every single night. I was sleeping badly and I was tired all day - I actually began to dread going to bed at night. I tried just about every natural remedy I could find, but nothing helped. I read about Phyto-B on a natural remedy website and was very skeptical about all the rave reviews. I was about 2 weeks into taking it (not the 2 or 3 days women had reported seeing a difference) and didn't notice any change, but decided that I might as well finish the bottle. Into the middle of my third week, the night sweats stopped - no hot flashes during the day, I was sleeping well, it has helped alleviate my vaginal dryness, and I am actually back to wearing a night gown again! I just ordered a 3 month supply - I feel like I am back to my old self, except without a period! I have never felt better!

I have used this for years. When I stopped the hot flashes returned. I started it again and within 48 hours no more hot flashes. I have recommended Phyto B to several women and recently a man who is taking medication which has a side effect of hot flashes.
Pros:
It is easy to take the four pellets in the morning and at night. It is not a problem if I don't take them exactly 12 hours apart or miss a dose occasionally.Cons:
I had to get used to not swallowing the chewed bits so they could absorb sublingually. Two to four minutes seems like a long time to hold them in the mouth.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have used Phyto-B for 2 years. It was recommended by my natropathic doctor. It took a couple of weeks to begin working, but when it did, I was relieved of all my menopausal symptoms.

I can easily order Phyto-B on-line and it costs the same amount as I pay at my doctor's office. It's all natural and keeps me symptom free.Cons:
Phyto-B takes a little longer to begin working than a prescription hormone, but it is well worth the wait. I would recommend this item to a friend.

I began taking 2 in a.m. and 2 in p.m., within a week I quit having hot flashes and I was having over 20 a day. My night sweats are also subsiding at this point. So in the p.m. I began taking 3 and by week 2 the night sweats disappeared. My moods have evened out and headaches are down to almost nothing. The big plus is I've been trying to lose weight and after beginning the Phyto-B I immediately began losing pounds. I a.m. down 17 lbs and still losing.

I've used Phyto B for 20 years for menopausal symptoms, ie hot flashes & stress incontinence. I no longer have hot flashes but my 3 tablets taken sublinguilly each night keep me incontinence free. I've never experienced side effects or any other negative symptom.
