Somniphan™, a safe and effective sleep-aid that contains L-Tryptophan 300 mg,
GABA 200 mg and Melatonin 2 mg. These three ingredients work synergistically
to safely and effectively help one go to sleep and to help one resume sleep
patterns.


What are L-Tryptophan, GABA, and Melatonin?

L-Tryptophan: an amino acid that aids protein synthesis and is a precursor to the
neurotransmitter serotonin, which causes sleepiness.

GABA: an amino acid classified as a neurotransmitter present in the brain and serves as a
balancer between excitation and inhibition. It also participates in promoting relaxation which
allows one to sleep. Gaba eases anxiety as well as being a natural stress reducer.

Melatonin: a key element in regulating the body’s day/night metabolic rates. Its secretion is
synchronized with our biological clock which dictates the daily changes upon the body’s
metabolic activity: our circadian rhythms. Melatonin’s most popular use is to alleviate jet lag.


Who should consider Somniphan?

Somniphan is a safe and sleep aid that is suggested for individuals who:
• Experience sleeplessness, either occasional or chronic
• Experience frequent night wakings (due to stress) and may be helpful for men who experience
frequent night wakings due to prostate overactivity (e.g. frequent nighttime urination)
• Experience mood swings or negative outlook and as a consequence, have trouble sleeping
