Seems to work for intestinal bacteria overgrowth
February 5, 2013
I have had issues with intestinal yeast overgrowth for years following a course of heavy-duty antibiotics several years ago that pretty much destroyed my gut. I had things relatively "under control" when I came down with very serious food-poisoning last year, which resulted in the yeast issue getting way out of control again, as well as development of several new IgG food allergies (wheat, dairy, etc.). I'm back to reading the most current literature on treating yeast-related illness (since virtually no literature exists discussing how one can bounce back from the type of food poisoning that I got), and Tanalbit was recommended for killing unfriendly bacteria in the small intestine. I have to say, that since i started taking Tanalbit, I have noticed some improvement in the bloating and discomfort I've been experiencing in the small intestines for the past year. I'll continue to take it and hopefully the improvements will continue (I've only been on Tanalbit for a couple of months now).
Pros:Seems to work as indicated
Cons:A bit pricey, considering the daily quantity recommended
