Product Description
The three branched chain amino acids, L-valine, L-leucine, and L-isoleucine, are known to enhance protein synthesis in both liver and muscle cells. In addition, they can also serve as a source of energy for skeletal muscles during periods of metabolic stress. These amino acids have also been found to support liver function and improve insulin resistance and energy metabolism in certain individuals. Athletes often use them for their benefits as well. Surprisingly, a recent study found that restoring normal levels of BCAAs in the hippocampus improved brain function by enhancing synaptic efficiency.
