Citricidal Liquid Concentrate with Grapefruit Seed Extract by NutriBiotic is an amazing product which I first used when I needed something to kill possible mold growth (after a washer overflowed). No mold grew. But later, I found I could use it for yeast growth for myself and for my cats who had worms. Since it is a natural extract, I didn't have to worry about any side effects. I finally have to order more (the 2oz. bottle I had lasted a long time).

    Pros

    It works!

    Cons

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Citricidal Liquid Concentrate with Grapefruit Seed Extract by NutriBiotic is one of those products that once you try it you know it's an important addition to your diet. I find that while it's bitter in water by itself, it's almost undetectable in a smoothie and even in water alone you get use to it. I put 3 drops in 6-8 oz all day long. I definitely feel better.

    Pros

My entire digestive system seems to operate better.

    Cons

The bitter taste takes time to get use to.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

Citricidal Liquid Concentrate with Grapefruit Seed Extract by NutriBiotic works great to help control yeast! Be careful if you are sensitive to phenols though.

Citricidal Liquid Concentrate with Grapefruit Seed Extract was recommended to me by an alternative physician to kill bad internal gut bacteria and help heal my gut. Along with other recommendations from my physician, the protocol works. I will continue to buy this to maintain good gut flora.

    Pros

    It works!

    Cons

    Taste is not so great.

Neat stuff! I bought Citricidal Liquid Concentrate by NutriBiotic when I started to experience a strange coating and weird taste in my mouth. Soon after, I noticed my tonsils were a bit sore, which is very out of the ordinary for me. After brushing, I put one drop in about 4 ounces of water and rinsed/gargled with it once a day. I'd use a solid sip and move it around until I was annoyed. Ha! Nothing scientific about the timing. Then I would put the toothbrush head in what remained in the glass and let it sit for a bit. Definitely helped. I've also used it to soak produce.

    Pros

A lot for the money. So concentrated - I will definitely have to find more uses for it or I'll never use it up. Versatile item.

    Cons

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I've used Citricidal Liquid Concentrate with Grapefruit Seed Extract by NutriBiotic for years, and was told about another use for it that really helped. My car got mold in it, and I'm super sensitive to chemicals and mold. A friend told me a simple way to address it. You mix a teaspoon of this grapefruit seed extract into about a pint of vodka or everclear, and then put it in a spray bottle. Then use the mixture to clean every inch of your car, let it dry and vacuum very thoroughly. It helped dramatically. So, a good product, inside and out.

    Pros

    Very potent anti-fungal.

    Cons

    Nothing.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

  • Question:
Is this the original Citricidal, and what is the potency and expiration date?
    Terri Delaney on 9/22/2014 Answer:
    • Good afternoon Terri, it is unknown to us if this is the original Citricidal formula as manufacturers do change formulations from time to time. The bottles we have expire on Feb of 2020. For more information please contact the manufacturer.
