Cranberries are widely known for their potential to promote urinary tract comfort by alleviating some mild UTI symptoms. Unfortunately‚ cranberry juice or juice cocktails can be full of added sugar you don't want or need. Furthermore‚ these sugars can contribute to the growth of unhealthy bacteria by creating an environment more hospitable to them; this defeats the purpose of cranberry extract in the first place!

Instead‚ try a convenient supplement like Pure Encapsulations' Cranberry/d-Mannose. In addition to Cran-Max® cranberry extract derived from 100 percent pure cranberry fruit solids‚ these capsules also contain d-Mannose. d-Mannose is a simple sugar found in cranberries and other fruits‚ and may provide additional support for a healthy mucosal surface in the linings of the genitals‚ reproductive organs‚ and urinary system.

Cranberry extract is thought to work by maintaining a healthy bladder wall through its interaction with lectin receptors; this can prevent potentially harmful waste products from escaping. While it can't stop a UTI that has already occurred‚ it may help prevent future occurrences by keeping the bad bacteria from reattaching to the cells that line your bladder.

The female body is more likely to be susceptible to the development of a bacterial environment that negatively impacts the urethra and bladder. As a result‚ women may especially benefit from this support. Feel more confident and let go of the distractions of painful urinary tract infections today!

Take two to six vegetable capsules daily‚ in divided doses. You can take this supplement either with or between meals. At the recommended dosage‚ each bottle of Cranberry/d-Mannose by Pure Encapsulations should last from 15 to 45 days.

Pure Encapsulations seeks to formulate and manufacture high-quality‚ hypoallergenic dietary supplements. Quality control during the formulation and manufacturing process is paramount. All Pure Encapsulations products are made with the most bioavailable ingredients possible.

I believed in Pure Encapsulations and trusted the efficiency , the quality of this company. They were sold to NESTLE last year. That’s it for me.!!!! I remember when NESTLE’s CEO said water should not be free. They specialize in chocolate. This is corporate greed and these once great vitamins are going to suffer.

    Pros

    Nothing

    Cons

    NESTLÉ OWNS THEM

I consulted with my physician first to rule out any underlining causes of my UTIs prior to taking this product. With any onset or suggestion that I may be getting another UTI - I take this Cranberry/d-Mannose by Pure Encapsulations as directed. So far, I have been able to avoid taking antibiotics. Both myself and my physician are pleased with the results.
I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have had great results with Cranberry/d-Mannose by Pure Encapsulations in preventing urinary tract infections. I had the infections recurring almost monthly with many rounds of antibiotics. This supplement plus great pelvic floor physical therapy has really changed my life for the better! Thank you!

Thought Cranberry/d-Mannose by Pure Encapsulations would be perfect for preventing bladder infections. When I opened the bottle, there was such a strong odor, like petroleum. When I put a capsule in my mouth it tasted the same way! When I had a reputable doctor test the product, he detected at least one chemical and was very disappointed that this brand would have tainted ingredients. I returned to the company, hope they will check with the manufacturer.

    Pros

The blend of cranberry and mannose

    Cons

It contained chemicals and tasted weird

My Bichon Frise had a stone bladder operation. Her urine ph was alkaline and prone to UTI infections. With this combination I lower her ph and no more urine infections this way i am trying to prevent the formation of urilate stones again. I break the pill in half and sprinkle it over her food. She not even notices it and I dont need to fight anymore with her with a pill.

I like Cranberry/d-Mannose by Pure Encapsulations because they are capsules (I hate swallowing pills). So I can pull them apart and mix in liquid or applesauce. Tastes just fine. And they work! (recommended by my naturopath)
