Supplies Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) and catalase from our proprietary vegetable culture. Free radicals cause biological damage‚ generally by oxidative processes. SOD is the primary enzymatic free radical scavenger in humans‚ converting superoxide radicals to hydrogen peroxide and oxygen. Catalase converts‚ hydrogen peroxide to oxygen and water‚ and therefore complements SOD activity.

Our family is very much affected by genetic differences that reduce our SOD function. Our MD told us this is one of the most wide reaching and important issues with his more involved patients. We were all prescribed Dismuzyme Plus by Biotics Research several months ago. It's hard to say exactly how and if it's working, but in general we have more energy, are avoiding sickness and are able to handle stress fairly well.

    Pros

Trusted, MD recommended brand. Doctor said granules work best, however tablets are much more convenient.

    Cons

Wish tablets were as effective as granules.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
