    GABA (Pure Powder) by NOW was recommended to me by my therapists daughter! I have a low level of anxiety & depression. I find taking this 2-3 times a day really takes the edge off my anxiety & lifts my mood enough so I can get through my day! I really wanted a non-med alternative. This is a supplement & I have had no problems taking it & I have not experienced any side effects either.

    Pros

    Easy to take. I like the powder form. I take it under my tongue on an empty stomach. It does not taste bad. Cost is cheap too!!

    Now Foods Gaba has been the only brand that has been 100% effective at assisting my daughter's oversensitivity, allowing her to focus and overcome anxiety. Its also been instrumental in helping her get a full nights sleep without nightmares or sudden wake ups. I've recommended it to many friends and family members who have all had great success!

    Pros

    It is safer than medications that claim to do the same things but come with a long list of side effects and more effective than any other natural aid that we have tried. It dose works best with Now foods L-Theanine. Without that there are some slights up's and down's but I've seen this to be true of all brands we have tried. Combine with the L-Theanine, Gaba has a long lasting stability and is out #1 go to for stress, anxiety, overestimation and sleeplessness.

    my 5 y.o. son uses this 1-2x a day to help with anxiety taking 250 mg. 500 mg didnt help much but the 250 mg did. its a guessing game to see how much they need. i tried this for my anxiety and it didnt help at all (in fact made it work) but thats GABA in general not this particular brand. i respond well to inositol for anxiety. this GABA does what its supposed to and i love that its pure no additives. and you cant beat the price!
