Worried about using different kinds of honey? No problem! Simply wash the pump in warm soapy water, ensuring the tube is submerged, until it's free of honey residue. Rinse with clean water to remove any soap residue and let it dry completely before inserting into the jar.

Dealing with crystallized honey? Don't fret. Follow the cleaning steps mentioned earlier and while you wait for the pump to dry, gently warm the crystallized honey in a pot of water.

If your pump is difficult to press down, there could be a few reasons for it. Thicker honeys may require more effort to pump. Double-check that the pump is assembled correctly - the angled end should be at the bottom of the jar. Ensure your honey isn't crystallized, and if it is, follow the cleaning steps mentioned earlier. Lastly, try loosening and then screwing the jar lid back on to adjust the pressure inside.

Wondering if this pump works with Whipped Honeys? Unfortunately, it doesn't. Those wider jars and the thicker consistency of Whipped Honeys make it incompatible. Instead, we recommend using one of these Savannah Bee spatulas.
