Hepafem utilizes traditional western herbs that support the liver during detoxification and promote the liver�s ability to dump toxic bile into the intestines during cleansing from environmental toxins.

Excellent long term gentle liver support

Prescribed to me by me naturopath, I use this product to support my liver on a daily detoxifiying basis. It is my understanding that one can use this product for several months in a row, as long as the bowels are regular, to effectively support the cleansing the liver. I did not experience any poor side effects - I take mine at night, before bed. This product is especially helpful for women, as the liver participates in estrogen regulation; the cleaner the liver the less PMS and perimenopausal symptoms women seem to have.
