Product Description

Dr. Devin Houston created No-Fenol to help parents provide their children with a better diet, free of polyphenolic compounds which can cause problems for some people when consuming fruit and vegetables. The initial feedback from families indicates that this product has been successful in allowing them to add healthier options back into the diets of their kids without any complications.

Phenolic compounds are a widespread and essential part of nature, but their role in certain neurological disorders is not yet fully understood. It has been theorized by some that children diagnosed with PDD may have difficulty metabolizing phenols which can cause physical symptoms like red ears or cheeks, as well as behavioral issues such as dark circles under the eyes. While little research into this phenomenon exists at present, it could be due to phenolics being "trapped" within metabolic pathways related to detoxification.

Recent studies suggest that phenolic compounds could be prevented from being metabolized due to the addition of carbohydrate groups. Nevertheless, No-Fenol has demonstrated effectiveness by its ability to remove these sugar molecules and restore normal detoxification processes in individuals with PDD. This success may challenge the current understanding regarding the role of phenols as problem agents for this condition.

Xylanase is a powerful enzyme and key component in No-Fenol, used to break down complex plant cell wall carbohydrates. It's application to the juice industry has revealed its efficacy at extracting more juices from fruit pulp fibers as well as increasing polyphenolic compounds within them. Recent investigations into phenols suggest that their presence may not be so much of an issue - possibly indicating that it is instead related to the structure of these molecules rather than just quantity alone.
